Matthew 25:40-45 ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ This is more than a Bible verse, this is the scripture tears into the soul. In a world of hurt and want, we need to realize it isn’t about our “wants” but those who have true “need”.
The need for housing, food and clothing is a basic human, no one should ever be deprived of these elements. But equally as important, especially for a child, is the love that family nurtures.
At Ya Bana, thanks to you, the basic need is met in that so needed nurturing environment. With the homes set up with a limited number of children, each house has a “mom” that loves and cares for the children. This is not your typical orphanage!
This can not happen without you. That is a simple sentence but the gravity of it is gut wrenching. You are the lifeline for these children. We are so grateful that you have chosen to partner and give of your time and talents. But it is your generous cash donations that keep the village operating.
Our hearts are full, Thank you!
