Race to 300

Sponsor a child's education to help break the cycle of poverty

What is the Race to 300 Fundraiser?

This is a fundraiser to sponsor the education of the children in the Ya Bana village.

Why is this important?

At the Ya Bana Village,  we want to equip the children for adulthood and help them break free from the poverty cycle. To do this, it is important that the children have a good education which can only be obtained at a private school.

How can I get involved?

We are looking for people who are willing to commit to sponsoring a child's education monthly. It costs about $200/month to cover a child's education, but you don't have to cover that cost alone. Whatever you can contribute goes a long way toward changing a child's life forever.

Why is it called the Race to 300?

The name is based on the story of Gideon (Judges chapter 7) and how God selected just 300 men for him to go into a mighty battle against 32,000 soldiers.
In the same way that Gideon trusted God to complete this enormous task, we are trusting God to provide in unexpected ways through donors like you!
